Let's talk about my latest craze - active/healthy living. After the long weekend and all the yummy yummy food, I felt bloated and quite disappointed with my lack of self control. To resolve my bad habits and try to be better to my body, I cleaned out my fridge and threw on my bag pack and headed to grocery shop. I picked up a slew of healthier meal choices, sticking with vegetables and staying away from frozen dinners.
Once I got down to eating right and reducing my cravings, I decided to kick things up a notch. Having heard a lot of positive opinions about hot yoga, I took the easier plunge and got a deal off Groupon. My first class was basically beads of sweat attacking my mouth but the next day, the muscle burn proved that I did little more than act like a fool during that class. The classes are intense and I love it! I had my first ever protein shake after the class. The low-cal green tea shake was to die for. I hope I keep this up and work my way to being healthier!
